The Fairmont Newfoundland is the best hotel in town. It has all facilities and a great view of the harbour.

Try this web site:
http://www.premieresuites.com/NFLD/stjohns.asp

If that does not work, just try http://www.premieresuites.com and then click on the link to St. John's.

Leaside Manor is a great place, very nice!
Also, if you want to be on the water,
The Beach House is beautiful!

Hope this helps!

In January, we stayed at the Fairmont Hotel and I can't say enough wonderful things about the hotel, the service, the hospitality. We also rented a house via www.trinitybightvacations.com -- the house was beautiful, location made traveling easier, and it is a nice way to get to know the area.
