Hotels near Molson Amphitheater Toronto
I'm looking for hotels near the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto, under US $200 per night. It doesn't have to be walking distance; taking a cab is fine. (but not a $40 cab ride!) If I stay at a hotel close to the amphitheater, will I be too far away for visiting the rest of the city?

Thanks!

Tehre are no hotels within easy walking distance, but all the downtown hotels are relatively close by cab.

the message from Firas covers some; others close enough that it does not matter include the Fairmont Royal York, the Novatel, Crowne Plaza, The Hilton, and the Sheraton. The Colony is across the street from the Metropolitan, and the Delata Chelsea is maybe only another $2 further away.

If you have maps, etc. ...

The Molson Amphitheater is in Ontario Place, with is sort of a man-made island just to the west of downtown Toronto, in front of Exhibition Place.

A great many visitors take the Toronto Transit system to get there, and service is quite convenient. This opens up even more hotel choices for you.

BAK

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I talked to someone who is from Toronto and she said the Park Hyatt was the place to stay (I usually like luxury hotels, nice rooms, bathrooms, good area so she figured this would be best) and wasn't too far by cab or subway to Molson. This is 200 a nite. Is it worth it? What would your second choice be from the ones mentioned above? I was looking at the Sheraton and Marriott Bloor St. My friend said it wasn't worth it to be close to Molson to stay at Westin, that this area wasn't as nice as the downtown area. Thanks so much!
