Hotels in Montreal

Any suggestions on where to stay in Montreal on a moderate budget with two adults and two teenage girls?

Hotel Casa Bella has a great location, on la rue Sherbrooke, downtown Montreal, you will be in a unique position to explore the heart of this wonderful city by walk. They're located next to the majors shopping streets, the festivals, museums and various attractions, the Old Montréal… everything is within a few blocks of this hotel.

There is a free continental breafast and free Wi_fi internet (if you have a laptop).

many of the downtown hotels offer a promotional package called "Sweet Deals" which includes for the period from June 1 to October 15 good prices for the first two nights and half price for the third night. some hotels include breakfast or parking.

Some good choices downtown in the range you mention include the Delta, Hyatt Regency, Square Phillips Hotel and Suites, Centre sheraton. If you average in the reduced price for the third night, other hotels like the Hilton and Marriot Chateau Champlain would meet your definition of "moderate."

Hi jwinkcom,

My husband and I really enjoyed our five-night stay at Le Square Phillips in Sept/06. I believe that all units are suites with kitchenette. We had one of the smaller suites - it was clean, comfortable, and spacious - excellent value. Lovely-looking pool and terrace on the top floor. I remember thinking what a great place this would be for families. We would definitely return.

I have stayed at Anne Ma Soeur Ma Soeur - double room with two bathrooms $185/night.

It is on the trendy part of Rue St. Denis - lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. 15 minute walk to Old Montreal - 5 minutes to St. Catherine
