Halifax Airport Hotel

I need to stay at/near the Halifax airport. Can somebody please tell me the nicest hotel closest to the airport?

There are three:
Quality Inn - the old airport hotel (original one) that has been redone. Onsite restaurant I believe. Stayed here years ago.

Hilton Garden Inn
New hotel. I stayed here within the last two years. Great spot. Restaurant, large comfortable rooms.

Holiday Inn Express
Right next to the Hilton Garden Inn. Not stayed here, just opened. Typically nice hotels, complimentary breakfast.

I would assume all have shuttles to the aiport.

The hotels are within minutes of the airport. Lots of travellers in the winter time use the hotels since they are able to park their cars there for up to two weeks. So depends on how many people are flying at the time you are trying to get to the airport, but it shouldn't take too long. There are lots of taxis you could call as well.

Not sure with the new renos if the taxis can wait outside the exit at the airport, but their holding area is within feet of the door and they are always around.
