Recommendations for Pertth Airport Hotels
I'm looking for hotel or B&B accommodation near Perth Airport that preferably have a shuttle service and restaurants on-site and would appreciate recommendations based on recent experience.
Have checked out the Comfort Inn Bel Eyr and Como B&B.
Are we better off to stay in the city where there is more choice rather than at an airport hotel?
Thanks,
Pol

Hi Treepol -
Hotel operated shuttles in Perth are a bit hard to come by, but there is an airport shuttle service that serves most CBD hotels.

Based on my experience, hotels near the airport are noisy and sub-par. The CBD isn't that far from the airport and offers more and better options.
Another option is South Perth, which is just a short hop via ferry from the CBD.

I agree with melnq8 that a CBD hotel makes sense. We ask the hotel desk the day before to arrange a cab and have never had a problem with it arriving and getting us to the airport on time. Sorry, can't remember how much it costs, but worth it to me to avoid the anxious wait for a shuttle.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Bel Ayr last year. It was just a one-nighter between late afternoon and early morning flights. The place was just ok for the purpose. The room was basic, as was the restaurant, but the shuttle ran on time.
