Car rental - Union St, Toronto

Does anyone know which car rental companies have outlets at Union Station? I will be arriving by train from Montreal and want to get a car straight from Union Station to drive to Niagara. I'll only have the car for two days, so if the prices are similar, I would like to pick the company that's most convenient. Are they a short walk from the station? I'll have luggage but don't mind walking with it so long as I know where I'm heading!

I'll be doing this on 24 May which I understand is Victoria Day - I assume a car rental company would be open on this day? I am from the UK so am not sure what's open/closed on Victoria Day.

Hertz is in the station.

Avis is in BCE Place, across the street from the station.
Others are very close by, including in the Royal York Hotel, which is right across the street, too.

If otehrs don't give you more info, I'll check within the next couple of days. I seem to be there a lot.

Thanks BAK, I appreciate your help.

My concern was just some that call an office "Union Station" whether it really is in the station or jost somewhere in the general area. Like I mentioned, a short walk will be fine.

Unfortunately, I think Hertz is closed on 24 May.

The other company I think I may have found with a Union Station pickup is Alamo.

DAve,
I just phoned Alamo and also National Car Rental and they are both right in the Station. The fellow said they are on the level below street level, and said they were open on May 24th. But I must be honest with you....he didn't sound 100% sure about being open. I think I caught him off guard and he wasn't really, really sure about the holiday. So double check... but at least you know they are in the Station! Good luck.. also, Alamo usually has good rates.

Kodi, many thanks for taking the time and effort to make the calls - I really appreciate it. That info is useful for me getting quotes.

As BAK mentioned, Avis is in BCE Place which is connected underground to Union Station - some minor navigation of 3-5 steps. Check with the co's but I would think some/most of them are open as a) it is a busy weekend and lots of returns on May 24, b) it is probably the second busiest location after the airport.
