Car Drop Off at Montepulciano/Chiuso Scalo

I've been reading two-yr-old posts here re dropping off car rentals at Chiusi Scalo and continuing on to Siena and Florence by train. Things then were in flux, to say the least. My question is, can I drop off our car at Chiusi Scalo, and then walk to the train for boarding?

If I remember correctly Hertz is just across the street from the train station.

Where are you going next? If Florence, I would just drop there---at the airport.

I've rented cars from Chiusi several times, from Auto Europe. When they hooked me up with Hertz, it was a breeze - the Hertz office is right across the street from the train station. When they hooked me up with EuropCar it was about a block and a half away from the train station. But both were easy.

I have no idea what you mean about things being in flux, but if your car rental is with Hertz or EuropCar, yes, it's an easy walk to the train station.
