Boxing day

Can anyone tell me if January 2 is also considered a "boxing day?" Can I expect a deep discount or would I miss out on the sale? Thanks.

Bozing Day here is generally Dec 26th and that's the day that stores advertise the biggest &quot;blowout&quot; prices. <BR>However, the week from Christmas-NY is also considered to be Boxing Week and there will be big sales all around.. So I'm sure you will get some good deals around Jan 2nd, maybe not *as good* as Dec 26th.

If you are coming to Canada for Boxing day, watch which province you are going to because some in some places it is a paid holiday. I work in a mall, and woo-hoo, we are CLOSED!!!! In New Brunswick, and probibly in Nova Scotia, you can't shop that day. You may find an open pharmacy or something.

Are the stores open in Montreal on Dec 26th? Just booked a room at the Place D'Armes and wanted to do some shopping on the 26th.
