I'm hoping that I'm not too late, but here it goes just in case you haven't left for BC yet:
My husband and I also went to BC for our honeymoon! As for restaurants, I would recommend the following:
VANCOUVER:
"Lumiere"
Website: www.lumiere.ca
We had the fabulous 12-course tasting menu. On your way out, ask for a copy of their menu. Reservations recommended.
"Tojo's"
If you like sushi, this is the place to go. Ask for a table outside on the deck, but bring a jacket--it can get chilly at night. This past summer, we dined on the deck with Diana Krall and Elvis Costello sitting on the table right next to us! Beautiful views of the city and North Vancouver from the deck!
"Rain City Diner"
Beautiful views of English Bay from this rest.
VICTORIA RESTAURANTS
"Aerie Resort"
It's about a 30 minute drive from Victoria. We stayed at the resort on our honeymoon and loved it there! It's in a remote area but the views from the main dining room are breathtaking! And, if you are lucky, the pianist, Billy Andrusco, makes your dining experience a very romantic one! Ask for instructions on how to get to & from the Aerie Resort as it can be a little tricky, esp. after dark.
I know the Aerie Resort has a website. Do a Google search for more info. and to view photos of the property.
"The Empress Hotel" (for High Tea)
It's a wonderful experience!
"Sooke Harbor House"
I'm not sure how far this rest. is from Victoria, but we drove there when we stayed at the Aerie. We had a wonderful dinner here as well! Another place to ask for driving directions to and from as it is easy to get lost in this area.
TOFINO
I agree with an earlier posting: "Rainforest Cafe" is excellent!
Another excellent rest. in Ucluelet (near Tofino) is "The Boat Basin" at Tauca Lea by the Sea. We stayed at the Tauca Lea and was pleasantly surprised at the on-sight rest., "The Boat Basin"! We dined there two nights in row because it was so good!
Have a wonderful honeymoon!!!
