Why would you not want to stay at the Holiday Inn in the Rocks?

Why, if budget is a factor, must you stay in the Rocks?

I would recommend the Lord Nelson Hotel. I'm not sure what you mean by "overpriced", but we were there last June and paid $180 (AUS) for our room. That includes a wonderful breakfast with eggs cooked to order if you want them. We arrived there at 7am and they actually let us check in, have breakfast and take a nap since our room had not been used the night before. And she didn't charge us for the breakfast (which the hotel in Rio had done when they did the same thing). So all in all I thought it was fabulous place to stay.
