Does anyone have a suggestion for a moderately priced hotel near Kingsford Smith's international terminal as we are flying back to Canada in April from Sydney. We would prefer something right at the airport. Thank you so much!

The only one AT the airport is Rydges which is relatively new. Not sure what you would consider moderately priced but you could google them. It is a five minute walk across the road to Rydges. Good luck!

We have stayed in the Rydges Sydney Airport, and it is literally just across the road from the international terminal.
If you join their membership club (free) you automatically qualify for a discounted rate and late checkout. Their rates vary, so check them out on line.

Otherwise there is Ibis - they have a shuttle vehicle for transport, and of course the accommodation is a lot more basic. Di

Yes , recently my sister flew to the States and her flight was going early so she checked in at Rydges overnight. I met her and had breakfast in the hotel. Had a look at the room which was quite nice. So easy to saunter across the road when you are ready. Have fun when you get here and check back in if you want to ask anything else.

Lots at the airport are fine and very close to the airport (a short taxi ride). I've stayed at Stamford Plaza and Holiday Inn.

I stayed at the Ibis and HATED it. Small room with weird bathroom cubicle thing.
