Photos: Easter Island and French Polynesia

In mid-May, I traveled to Easter Island (via French Polynesia) from New York, using 70,000 Aadvantage Miles.
I spent three full days in Easter Island (and could have used another day or two), then a few days in Bora Bora, Rangiroa and a departure day in Tahiti.
I would be happy to answer any questions, but in lieu of a trip report, I refer you to my photos.

Welcome back, Michael! Enjoyed your photos. The French Polynesia ones brought back nice memories (haven't been to Easter Island yet). What did you use for the underwater shots?
What geographic zone was this award considered or did you use a Oneworld award? What carriers did you take?

Patty, there are no underwater shots -- the water in Rangiroa was so clear that I was able to take photos from the surface (of course, the snorkeling was fantastic, but I didn't have an underwater camera).
Easter Island is in South Pacific zone (for AA purposes). Now, that I look at the chart, it may have been 75,000 miles (not 70,000).

kaley, I booked all my travel through AA (using their frequent flyer miles), but my flights were on AA, Air Tahiti Nui and LAN (in that order from JFK to LAX to Tahiti to Easter Island on the way there, and in the reverse on the return). I did a several day stopover in Tahiti on the return, and I used that stopover to visit Bora Bora and Rangiroa.
LAN is the only carrier servicing Easter Island.

Michael...great pictures!!! I'm jealous about Easter Island, I haven't been yet, but I want to go. The pictures on Tahiti and her islands bring back great memories of my honeymoon, and Hinano!
The clarity and color in your pictures are so great; what kind of camera do you use? Thanks for sharing!

Michael, I'm planning a somewhat similar trip later on this year: Easter Island and on to Tahiti via some of te South Sea Islands. I can't access your photos and am anxious to see them. Are they still available? I'm just getting a "generic" Kodak page when I click on the link you provided.
