One month trip round South Island

We recently spent a month trying to see as much of the real South Island as we could whilst avoiding the worst of the tourist traps.

Some pictures and text pages can be found by following the New Zealand link at

Michael -

The first words out of my mouth when I looked at your photos were "oh my god". Fantastic photos! You must be a professional photographer. WOW, WOW, WOW!

Thank you for sharing - they're absolutely stunning. I only wish my photos were a fraction as good.

The Mt Cook photos are incredible.

Must get back now to look some more...

Glad you like the pics.

I found a couple of pages today that refused to load in some browsers. It looks like a corruption in uploading, but if anyone experiences such problems do please let me know.

Great pictures! We spent about a week on the south island and my dream is to go back and spend a month. We have friends who live in Christchurch now, so maybe one of these days we'll get to. I especially want to spend time in the Catlins. we ran out of daylight and had to skip most of them.
