Melbourne airport hotel

We will be arriving in Melbourne in the evening and won't be able to pick up our campervan until the next morning. Could someone recommend a cheap hotel near the airport please?

We stayed at the Ciloms Lodge, which is located two minutes from the International airport. We booked on ratestogo.com and paid $A99.

The hotel has a 24 courtesy bus that provdes airport pick up and drop off and transportation to a nearby shopping mall.

Thanks you, we'll have a look at ratestogo and the Ciloms Lodge nearer the time. We have also found the Formule 1 motel near the airport, not luxury but it should be OK just for one (short) night.

I dont think you can beat the Formula 1
for price and location. It is easy walking distance from the Airport. There is also the Melbourne Airport caravan village,7 min by shuttle bus from the airport. They have self contained cabins and villas. There are shops and a hotel nearby. If you are getting in late and out early the F1 is the best option. I stay reguarly at Mel Airport and have tried all accom around, including Ciloms.
