we are a large family looking to rent a house for 2 weeks in Dec. In area of Batemans Bay, Merimbula, Kiandra, Sussex Inlet etc. Anyone have any ideas of how to find house such as this? Is there a good rental agency to access on line? How much should we expect to pay\? Any info would be much appreciated. thx.

All the major Real Estate Agencies ie. LJ Hooker,Ray White, Raine & Horne have Web pages and if you were to access them you might find some rental properties. I would do a Google search for South Coast Real Estate Agencies and see what turns up.
The rent will depend very much on the area and how close to Xmas your dates are.

I forgot to mention that Kiandra is actually up in the Snowy Mountains so I presume you mean Kiama?

This question interests me as we're thinking of spending time in this area. Can anyone tell me if there are lots of day trips from this area; any wineries, nice little towns, etc. etc. We are thinking of spending a couple of weeks here as well as some time in Sydney and N.Z.
