Live Aboard on the GBR
Greetings all!
Well we are planning our 3rd consective vacation back to Oz and NZ. This time we really want to spend 4 - 6 days on a live aboard so we can really enjoy the reef and all that it has to offer. We will be in Oz for most of the month of August 2004.
We have always received fantastic tips here and look forward to hearing everyone's experiences and ideas
Cheers
Steve

You could also try Captain Cook Cruises who run four day cruises around the Barrier Reef. I think their website is www.captcookcrus.com.au

Hi Steve - haven't had time to do liveaboard on Spirit of Freedom (I live and work in Cairns) and boat is quite new. However, have been over vessel and really liked it - very well equipped for divers and Tusa Dive is an established reputable dive company. All dive sites it visits are exceptional so I guess time would dictate which one you choose. Cheers!

hi there,
my tip for lliveaboards would be Undersea explorer- does adventure dives and involved heavily in interactive research...or for a luxurious trip try Diversity.
Diversity is a gorgeous vessel and only takes 12 passengers.
cheers
