judilie: How did you book for Yellow Waters cruise?

We leave for East Timor and the Northern Territory this Friday. Everything is booked EXCEPT the Yellow Waters Cruise. I emailed them and Guluyambi the same afternoon, more that a fortnight ago. Guluyambi replied straightaway, but Yellow Waters hasn't replied at all. I've just phoned, pressed the right button, but no-one answered. Grr!

I wonder whether we can book somewhere in Darwin on Friday, but it is school holidays up there and maybe we're too late!

Thanks judilie for your prompt reply! That's the email address that I used, except that my "reservations" was lower not upper case. [And it was lower case on the website.] I'll ask DH whether that makes a difference - he's an I.T. person. I would have expected a bounce if it wasn't correct.

Perhaps they're ignoring me because we're not staying at the Lodge! ;-)

I can't imagine that the case makes a difference. That's the e-mail address from which I received the confirmation. I don't recall exactly what I did when I booked -- whether

I meant to say: I don't recall exactly what I did when I booked the reservation; I may have done it through a website. I do know that I booked the cruise the same time I booked the lodging.

Good luck, and have a wonderful trip! We look forward to you report on it when you return.

I did book by sending an e-mail to that address (all lower case). (I just found a copy of the e-mail.) I heard back from them about 24 hours later.

Well, 24 hours later and I still haven't had a reply to my second email! Perhaps they've blacklisted me ;-) I'll try phoning again tomorrow. Thank you for your well-wishes and I will post a trip report.

Hi judilie,
Don't know whether you'll check this again, but yesterday I finally managed to phone and book the cruise. Apparently they've been swamped by emails! Thank you for your encouragement - otherwise I may have given up!

Hope your Perth planning is going well!

Now to pack!

That's great, Suelynne. Perseverance paid off!

Have a wonderful trip, and tell us all about it when you return.

Perth planning is going well. I've gotten great feedback from Melnq8, but haven't heard from anyone else. I guess Perth is not as popular a destination as the Darwin area.
