Free Trip to Australia

Dear Ozzies and fans of OZ,

National Geographic magazine is having a sweepstakes for a free 2 week photo trip to Australia:

www.nationalgeographic.com/travelaustralia

the usual suspects: Sydney, Melbourne , GBR and Tassie

Even though posting this info probably reduces my chance of winning, I felt an obligation to pass this on. However if you win and don't have anyone to travel with, I'm available!

cheers
AndrewDavid

A/D, I was going to take you with me when I won but I can't enter! The contest is not open to residents of Florida & Puerto Rico

So to whoever wins, I would hope that you would find it in your heart to take pity on this poor soul, exiled to Florida, not even able to enter the Nat Geo contest, and take me with you on the trip to Oz.

"Honey, I'm sorry, but I can't take you to Australia because JohninMiami wants to go."

I can hear the reaction now...

Well Leeanne if you think that will get a reaction out of your hubby just imagine Andrew/David's reaction!! He will spit nails if any of us take anyone other than him!!

But sorry John - we didn't realize the contest was closed to you poor Floridians (glad I'm back in Maryland now) or to those from PR.

Whoever wins will have to bring back some goodies to those who DIDN'T win...

Ok, I retract my previous plea - but only if someone brings me Tim Tams & Bundy!

LizF - are you coming for a visit in August?

>>Have you ever been notified of your win? I never have!!!<<

When I got an e-mail, of all things, telling me we won the trip to New Zealand, my first response was "Yeah, right..."

I saved the e-mail to show dh, whose response mirrored mine. Then I remembered that I actually had entered a drawing for a trip to NZ, and noticed that all the e-mail headers were legit. I called the toll-free number the next day, and the rest is history!
