It's been 8 years since I stayed at O'Reillys and 25 since we were at BB.

Can someone fill me in on the difference between the two lodges?

We are two 40-year-olds on our honeymoon. We love hiking and don't need anything too fancy, but would like something a little romantic.

Binna Burra appears a bit more rustic. Thoughts?

I have never stayed at either but my impressions from the outside are like yours.

I consulted my wife, who stayed with me at BB in the late 90's and with a girlfriend at O'Reillys in 2006. As is my impression (having at least seen O'Reilly's from the outside many times), my wife suggests O'Reilly's as the more upmarket and romantic destination. (She has to take me next time!!).

Also, you can't beat the view at OReilly's.

I was at O'Reillys a few months ago. I was in a canopy room and it was pretty good. The rooms are on three levels and the higher the better. The food was OK - not fantastic. I enjoyed the walks.
