Best airlines to fly to FP?
We are going to the Tuamotus and Bora Bora in May and wonder if anyone has any opinions about the best airline to take? All prices are relatively close so we'd like to base our decision on which one gives the best service, is most comfortable (will be flying coach from LAX), and is the most reliable. Looking at AOM, Air Tahiti Nui, Air New Zealand, Air France. Any opinions?

we thought the service, and amenities on Air Tahiti Nui were top-notch. overall, it's a big, comfortable jumbo-jet.
don't let that mislead you though-- the seats in economy class are very cramped and uncomfortable. but the amenities, food, service, etc, is OUTSTANDING!!!

We use Air Tahiti Nui and Air New Zealand, both are good.
Air New Zealand does not operate flights everyday, and they only operate one flight on the days that they do. Which means if a flight gets cancelled, you can get stuck.
Air Tahiti Nui usually 2 flights per day, in some cases 3.
I've never had any service complaints on either of them.

Although I have not been on the other airlines you mentioned, Air Tahiti Nui was the most amazing long-haul flight I have ever been on. The food was really good, the attendants were friendly and helpful, and the entertainment was pretty good.
