No that is not a good fare. That is more than it costs we Australians to go to the USA return with 6 nights accommodation included

Hi, Debbie!<BR>From out here in Sydney, I wouldn't be able to judge if that's a good fare or not, but here is something to check before you commit to it: from Sydney a return ticket to Fiji can often be had for between $600 and $700 Australian, which is around $US330. Maybe you can get a discount fare from LA to Sydney and make your way to Fiji from there.... if there was little or no price difference, you would get an extra destination, if not a cost-saving!

The $900 region would appear to be a good fare. For March best fares are quoted in the $1275 region. The best fares are with resorts that have bulk rates with the airlines.

Debbie, I am leaving for Fiji tomorrow. My husband and I found tickets for $830 from LA to Nadi on Air New Zealand through Fiji Travel. At the time of booking the rate we received from Fiji Travel was hundreds of dollars lower than booking directly with the airline. The only problem - they accept cash or cashiers check only. I was very nervous about sending cashiers check or cash but received my tickets (and confirmed with the airline) no problem. I called Air New Zealand to confirm Fiji Travel was a reputable company.
