Wedding Dinner and Music Advice- Phuket

I am thinking of hosting a dinner at Mom Tri's , Silk or Watermark. Can anyone advise on the ambience, food and service in these restaurants?

Anyone know of a good guitarist/ jazz band / string quartet for the wedding music and their contact details?

Thanks

Sandlady

I don't know your budget but one of the best jazz musician in Thailand is Koh Saxman. I've seen him performing at a couple of wedding receptions and also at a few concert and he's very good.

He has a web site so try contacting him: http://www.kohmrsaxman.com/

Mom Tri's is a great place. The food is super and the ambiance is smooth. If you E-mail them, they might be able to arrange something.

We liked Mom Tri's Kitchen better than the Boathouse. Food was terrific at both places but the Kitchen has a more romantic feel to it. The view was fantastic and they have more intimate eating areas. We thought this was one of the prettiest places we have ever dined. Someone in Kata told us it was a special place and we agreed.

If you opt to go to the Kitchen, you might ask about seeing some of the villas and suites there! I've stayed twice at Villa Royale and it is pure heaven!
