I don't consider myself a "cold person" but I don't wear shorts when it's 50 degrees.

I must not have been too clear, but my point wa that yes, it can be 70 degrees in the sun for an hour or two mid day, but the rest of the day is not as such.

Today, for example, it is hot and sunny, mid day. Probably low 70's. but in the morning, I had my light cardigan on and am wearing summer/spring weight pants. I took off the top layer from 11-1:30 while my daughter had tennis and got some great sun. But now, the wind has picked up, my cardigan is back on and I will probably be wearing my denim jacket when the sun goes down.

yes, some are comfy in shorts, so do bring them, especially for the southern cities, but my point is, it isn't summer in BJ, just yet.
