I am so glad that everyone is enjoying the photos. I sure had fun taking them!

Clifton, it rained harder than I have ever seen it rain ANYWHERE and I have been in countires during the monsoon season and I live in Portland, OR. That should give you an idea of how hard it rained.

I will post more on my trip report thread later.

I loved your pictures. I also took pictures of those spiders but mine didn't come out as well. I was so glad to see my friend Saron Seun (your Cambodian guide) in the pictures. I found him 2 years ago. What a small world.
I've bookmarked your Thailand pics as that is where we would love to go next. thank you for taking the time to share.

We saw the sound and light show at the River Kwai Bridge in November 2005. Your pictures brought back some great memories of one of the highlights of our trip. We were so lucky to be there at the right time, werent' we?? Thanks for sharing.

cmenoni, I agree. It was a great time to be in Kanchanaburi!

I had completely forgotten that I would be there during the festival. My schedule was loosy goosy so I decided to head over there for a few days. I was only going to stay 3 nights but I ended up staying for 4 because I enjoyed the area so much.

I rented a motorbike so I had great freedom to explore the region, each day heading in a different direction.

Glad you enjoyed the photos!
