For men getting tailor made clothes is a bargain in India. Suits, pants, shirts or whatever you like you can get at a fraction of the cost. However I always have trouble getting shoes as there doesn't seem to be too amny selections in size 12.
We also got a few
sari's for my wife, nice tailor made leather coats for me and my son, a marble Taj Mahal,($200.00) several Indian watches (I collect watches)which cost anywhere from $5.00-$110.00, some gold jewelery (market price). The leather jackets were gifts and 4 pairs of tailor made pants (Wool, linen, cotton) were around maybe $50.00.
Glasses: The three of us had eye exams, we got one pair of glasses each and my son got a yrs. worth of contact lenses for around $200.00
