Taxi or plane to Kulalupore (KL)???

If I leave Singapore to KL, will taxi or plane be better to go there? Could anyone recommend me, please? Thanks

Let me think! - Ahh!, the joys of different spellings

I know KL, easy but then Kulalupore had me for it is often referred to in english as Kuala Lumpur (the Capital)

It would cost a fortune by taxi and a whole days drive, so either use a plane - www.airasia.com or www.tigerairways.com for cheaper flights, or if you want to see the scenery, there's express buses or the train - www.seat61.com for details.

Up to you. Only the seriously rich would think of taking a taxi. have you looked at a map?

You can fly, you can take a bus. The buses are pretty good - luxe, fast, cheap.

Why would you want to go any other way?

There's lots of buses going up to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. Price depends on your budget. The premium ones go up to about S$60 one way.
Takes about 5 hours.

Another way is to take the train. Takes a bit longer.

A taxi to Kuala Lumpur? What? KL is not a take-a-taxi- destination from Singapore. Fly. It takes 45 minutes. Happy Travels!

If you want to go by bus, the roads and buses in Malaysia are wonderful! We took the night train from Singapore to KL...about 8 hours, if I recall. We took the bus from KL to Penang. Very comfortable and nice scenery.

When I was growing up in Malaysia, sharing taxis was the only way to travel from town to town. The sharing of taxis still exists so it may be possible to get a taxi to KL but you may have to catch it in Johor Bahru across the border. It's relatively cheap.

There were buses then but not as convenient and the network was not as extensive as today.
