Everywhere in Singapore is convenient to good food. If it was me, I'd want to go into the city. It's a short taxi ride or MRT (subway) ride between the city and the airport. Is there anything else you would like to do or see during your brief time in Singapore? If there is, I'd choose a hotel close to that attraction, as you can find good food everywhere in Singapore.

If you're on a modest budget, as I am, or just don't like to pay more than you need to, I recommend The Inn at Temple Street, where I've stayed several times.
