We will be arriving at the ROS on November 16th in the afternoon and would probably be quite jet-lagged + hungry. Are there any good restaurants where we can find some vegetarian food around the hotel? (We don't care if the place serves meat, as long as we can get non-meaty food).

Try the Gallery, a very short walk from the ROS. Or a bit longer walk to Harmonique.

In my experience, you can find vegetarian food in all Thai restaurants.

The Gallery Cafe is just around the corner from the ROS. Walk out of the lobby, take a right, follow the street as it bends around to the left past the large animal statues on display. The Restaurant will be on your right before you get to the major road (Charon Kreung). It is one of our favorites.

yes it is thai and takes less than 5 minutes from the ROS

and they give great massages upstairs for only 350 baht!

The ROS buffet is very nice, but expensive. There is a French-like place that sells croissants and the like in the base of the ROS. You exit the lobby, go left and then left again. It will be on your left as you walk down towards the cross river ferry.
