Prescription medication in Dubai

My partner is travelling to Dubai in two days from now and they have been prescribed Sertraline (antidepressants) by their GP. I have just seen that you need to get approval from the Dept of Health there to bring this into the country via an online form. Does anyone know how long it takes to get approval? Can you travel with proof that you applied if you don’t hear in time? Quite worried as I’ve also heard that they count the medication being in your system as possession.
