Here's the link: http://classic.kodakgallery.com/jack...hong_kong_trip

I was interested that the bride and groom chose traditional western wedding attire, while the families were in traditional Indian attire. Are the bride and groom living in No. America or Europe? Snoopy, I know, but I'm interested.

Sure, no problem. Actually the bride and groom are both Christian and for them traditional "Western" wear is normal for a wedding. Even Christain women in India wear normal Indian attire like saris or kurtas on a day to day basis. We have been to many Hindu weddings and here the the bride wears an elaborately decorated red sari and the groom is decked out in his traditional Indian formal attire. Female guests wear traditional clothing like a fancy sari and the men can either wear a nice suit or Indian clothing. The bride and groom reside in India. Both spent a short period of time in Australia for job training but thats about it. Thanks for providing the link BTW. Larry

I see that you have stopped at the temple, the peak etc. Which hotel did you stayed in? Did you make it over to Macau?

We stayed at the Harbour Grand on HK island. Its on the northeast end. It was pretty nice with an impressive lobby and a great buffet breakfast. However for the price, around $250.00 per inc. taxes I expected a bigger room. It was roughly about the size of a balcony room on a cruise ship though the overall dimensions were larger because of the BR size. Anyway it was clean and very nice and close to the MTR. No, we missed Macau. My one regret is not allowing more time in HK. We had 4 days but 6 would have been better. we had 11 days in Delhi after we returned there from the wedding which was way too long considering we've seen alot of it already from our previous trips. I hope we can make it back there some day. Would like to see singapore too. Its our first time in oriental Asia and we sure would like to see more.

Thanks for the great photos! I loved seeing your family wedding. What a great family having a great time together! Loved the elderly gentlemen with the Adidas knit cap. He's a trooper.

Also great photos of HK. The day you went to the Peak looked really clear. I hope you get to go back to HK. It's fabulous city and India is a wonderful country to visit.
