Pickled Liver visitors, Bangkok?
I'm curious! Maeng just sent photos of "My Internet Friends" from Texas. She said they (young couple) came in and were very nice, and they knew me! I'm always happy when my internet friends stop by to say hello to Maeng and have her cook for them. But I can't figure out who this young Texas couple might be. Hints? Ideas? Who is in BKK now? I have not seen a trip report recently. Is it a poster or someone who only 'reads' fodors?

Could be a lurker, one never knows. You might want to post this in the Lounge too, Carol, as a lot of folks there actually do refer people here.
Pickled Liver is on one of my first places to visit when I make my first trip there!

Hi Evelyne! So glad you enjoyed the PL.
More information: The young couple I'm asking about are Asian, from Texas. First names Byron and Carol. They knew my name, and they were staying at my favorite... Adelphi Suites! Maeng said she thinks they will post about the PL. Hope so!

Hi Carol,
I'm sorry to bump this post again, but I have been reading about this place from the greatest Thai forum and how Maeng is a great cook...do you think my DH and I can try this out?
Can we say that we are Carol's internet friend from Fodors?
Is the place open everynite? And the most important question is, will Maeng be available to cook for us in any nite of the week, or is there any day that works better for her?
We will be in BKK in mid Jan..only for 4 days.
TIA!!!
