Olympic Games Tickets

Can anyone recommend a reputable site to get tickets for individual events at the Olympics in Beijing? Thank you.

We are also looking for tickets; have you found a good resource? Also, any suggestions on hotels? Thanks.

Morgen, note the message at the bottom of the page.

As of 19:00 July 27, tickets for all events hosted in Beijing are sold out. Tickets for football events hosted outside Beijing are still on sale.

Hi, I puchased tickets this week from ebay.com. Around $100-$125 per tix for Women Soccer final and track and field. Not too bad. The most difficult tickets are events at the Water Cube.

I also have an extra 8/21 evening woman table tennis qtr final. Cat A seat. Let me know if you want it.

On ebay, try "beijing olympics ticket". To narrow down listings, you can select dates on the left pane.

Violet are you going to any of the events? Can you tell us what the city is like now that the Games have begun?
The opening ceremony was incredible! Fantastic!

I will go to Artistic Gymnastics tonight and go to Men`s Basketball on 12th.
Konglin and I went to the Olympic Stadium on 8th even we hadn`t openijing ceremony tickets. We want to enjoy the event at that area.
Unfortunetly,it was too crowded to move, the gorvement block all the way to near the Stadium, the high buildings block our view to see the fireworks.only ads not live on the TV on the big TV screen on world plaza close to Stadium. We were so dispointed that we decided leave to home watch TV.But all the bus stations and subway stations were closed.lot`s of people had to walk far away to catch cab or bus.

Hi HX88,

I have been searching for a table tennis ticket for the 21st August. I would like to buy the ticket from you. I will be in Beijing from 20h00 on 20th Aug, so I could collect it on the morning of the 21st. Please let me know if this would suit you. I would prefer if you replied to my mail address as I am unlikely to check this thread again: [email protected]

Cheers,
Ryan

Hi Everyone,

I want to thank you all for your helpful responses. I was posting on behalf of the Winklevoss family, whose twin sons (Tyler and Cameron) were in the rowing doubles (they reached the finals but finished sixth). Not sure how many other events they got to see, but it was a unique experience. The boys are still there, for the closing ceremonies. Again, thanks to everyone. This is a terrific site.
