Hello my friends fodorites, I am entjoying my Peking duck for my last night in HongKong, tomorrow Tokyo anyone can tell me if there is an equivalent of PatPong night market in tokyo??

The Japanese equivalent of patpong is Ameyoko market right in front of the JR Ueno station. You can bargain there but not as cheap as patpong, lol

sorry misread your question, Ameyoko is more of a day market.
By patpong at night do you mean a red light district? If so the Kabuki cho district in Shinjuku is that place in Tokyo

Day market is fine, did not want red light district type just shopping type, just want to go with my husband at night because he is unfortunately working during the day.

Are you in the city now? Would you be up for a GTG of some sort on either Saturday or Sunday afternoon around 3pm? I would suggest a hotel lobby bar, somewhere along the sukhumvit line. There are many hotels along this skytrain route, between On Nut and Nana, where I am located.
