Mid-Upscale Siem Reap Hotel

Travelling with wife and infant daughter in November. What is the best choice presently in Siem Reap for a mid-upscale hotel? Possibilities: Angkor Century? Prince d'Angkor? Borei Angkor? Others?

Prefer to keep the cost at or under $100 per night. Thank you.

We stayed at the FCC and it was really good...I recall us paying about $90 USD a night.

rhkkmk is right on when he says that hotels are well overpriced, The FCC is now $132 whereas the one in Phnom Penh is half the price. Of the three you mentioned I would go for the The Borei Angkor. It is cheaper than the other two but is an excellent place to stay (3 star) with nice rooms, very friendly staff and a okay pool. Rates should be about $60net with breakfast. Has received very good reports. The other two are in the 4 star range (around $100) and are a little more lux although one report said the rooma at the Angkor Century were
disappointing. The Prince d'Angkor is new in 2005. Another hotel which has been getting good reports is the Day Inn Angkor Resort with rooms about $70.
