We will be stopping in Bangkok for 4 days on our way to Delhi and would prefer just to take a small bag into Bangkok. Can any one help me out with info on whether there is large lockers at the airport or a luggage storage room and if so the approx daily charge per locker or suitcase?

There is a left luggage check, which is something like $1 - $2 per bag per day.

It's 70 baht a day per bag (less than US$2, but rather pricy).

i would not leave anything of value in the cases....i prefer to take all my cases to my hotel for security...

I left a large, locked bag at the airport while in Cambodia and had no problems. For us, it was well worth the cost.

There is a "left baggage" place on each floor near the center of each terminal. Try to determine which will be most convenient to use.

The charge is by the half day. Had we not paid attention to that detail, we would have been unnecessarily charged for a full day.

In BKK, does the Left Luggage area have lockers, or is just managed by staff? Is there a choice, and if so, which would you recommend?
