I know this isn't the point of this thread, but 12 days isn't enough for Hanoi and Siem Reap? Really? We're going to be "on the ground" for 20 days, and we'll be in Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, HoiAn, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap and Hong Kong. People travel differently.

you certainly can get some sense of these places in 20 days, but travel days take at least 1/2 every time you move around....i would cut halong bay personally

We earned miles on Continental while flying EVA Airlines into BKK and out of PNH, via TPE each way. It was easier to manage PNH airport than BKK - fairly small, but clean and functional. ATM dispenses US cash in the terminal.

EVA does have a tricky website though, or at least did. Had to pick the segments separately to get the route we wanted.

Very few fare classes on BR earn any miles on CO since 1/09. Only C in business and Y/K in coach.

I wasn't sure, especially since the merger business with United. We're now where we couldn't really fly CO often, so wasn't sure

ANA now requires you to have a mileage balance with them before you can use their award availability tool for *A partners.

rizzuto. I wondered why I couldn't get any schedules. You have to have a mileage balance with ANA and not just a partner airline is what you are saying.
