Was just in HK 1st week of April 2002. It was warm. Brought windbreakers, but never needed it. My husband even went on a half-day tour using a sleeveless tank top. Had to put a shirt over it though later in the day. Very comfortable shoes/sandals and light clothing is called for since HK is a walk-around type of town.

I go to HK at about this time every year. It will range from warm to hot, but you can count on it being humid.

For business, nice slacks with a short sleeve shirt are fine.

For daytime touring, bring your shorts and sandals, plus some light weight pants. For night, light pants and MAYBE a light jacket- although you probably will not need it.

I'll be there the week after you, and I will not bring any long sleeve shirts.
