Guenmai, I've kind of lost track of this thread so forgive me for asking questions that may already have been answered somewhere! Which is the best airport to fly into? From what I recall, the GTG is actually in Pasadena, right? And, what is the date? I'm going to try and get a decent airfare and hotel. Any suggestions for a hotel that's nice and won't cost an arm and leg?

Laurie...I e-mailed you at your personal e-mail address either yesterday or the day before with GTG info. I didn't know that you had posted here as I'm handling all GTG business by personal e-mail to everyone. As for which airport...Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport (renamed to the Bob Hope Airport) is definitely the closest and the most headache-free one. LAX is a good hour away, by car, depending on traffic whereas Burbank Airport(Bob Hope) is about 30 minutes away or less depending on traffic. As for hotels, the Old Town Courtyard Marriott in Pasadena is the one that I've recommended. The date for the actual GTG is May 5th and the pre-GTG dinner for the out-of-staters is May 4th at 6:30PM. There's also a post-GTG dinner and a Sunday morning excursion to the Getty which is for those interested still-in-town folks as some are staying extra days. I e-mailed you the names of the restaurants as that GTG info will not be posted on the forum. Happy Travels!

Guen, if you emailed me at the hotmail address, I almost never check it. Contact Bob for my "real" email address. Also, will your name be in the "from"? If I don't recognize who an email is from, I delete it without opening so make sure either your name is in the subject or LA GTG or something I'll recognize.

Okay, I just checked my hotmail account (thank goodness it's still active). I got your email and forwarded it to my other address. I've put your email in my address book. I'll be looking into fares and hopefully I'll see you in LA!

Guenmai-evets have conspired and Mr. and Mrs. Panda will be unable to attend the LA GTG. We are heart broken. My family already hates me, why do they keep bothering me? You will have to find another monitor for Bob.

Gpanda....We will miss you and the Mrs. Now, I'll have the total responsibility of keeping Bob in line...due to your absence. I wouldn't wish that on Freddy Kruger. Well, I'd better go.
