For anyone who is afraid to travel anywhere in Asia due to not knowing the language...

I found the perfect gift for all those people who post on here that they are afraid to go to Japan and everywhere else because they don't know the language...

Hey Ken! My son pointed out this shirt to me after we went to Mexico 2 wks ago together. I have my high school Spanish and he has his one year, and we got through ok. He has a good sense of humor and knows me well.

BTW, I feel down a flight of concrete stairs while carrying my suitcase just outside the airport in Mexico City, and broke two bones in my foot. Had no idea I had done that much damage, guess I was in denial and just took ibuprofen and walked all over the city and outlying areas for 4 days, including climbing the world's 3rd largest pyramid. After I got back, realized it was more serious and now have cast on, etc. But it was a good trip and I'm glad I kept going!

Now, where's the bathroom?????

Ouch, that sounds painful. Again with the feet.

That t-shirt looks useful. I learned today, here in Taupo, that the Kiwi name for a cooler is a chilly bin.

I've been considering the low fares for LAX-MEX, via IAD, but have not yet pulled the trigger.

ht: aloha. Have seen some beautiful country up north. The spectacular bits are down south.

boys will be boys...and naughty ones at that...

mrw, go to mexico city. I think you'll love it. Very vibrant, alive, and different. Lots happening. We loved Lucha Libre (masked wrestling) and the bullfight, and just great people and fun exploring. And archeology. And a totally naked protest outside the Palacio de Belles Artes!
