tell us what you might be interested in first????
in bkk the zoo, while not huge, is quite nice...it is near to v-mark palace and parliament...
a klong tour of thornburi would be enjoyed by all for about 400 B per hour for the boat...you can get it at taskim pier at the end of the skytrain route...

There are lots of half day and full day trips around Phuket, Phi Phi island trip, Sima Safari, Elephant trek ( quite a journey ), Phang Nga Bay etc.

You won't have any trouble at all in finding trips & activities. When you get to your hotel in BKK grab a pile of those tourism publications that are free in the lobby, you'll get heaps of ideas & prices. And at Phuket you'll pass a zillion tour agents and they'll all have trips & tours advertised with photos. However, I agree with the other posts - a klong tour in BKK, and PP, PhangNga, elephants in Phuket are essential.
