I rely on the services of a woman named Thary to arrange anything having to do with travel into, out of or inside Phnom Penh. She's a gem.

It sometimes takes her a couple of days to respond. Be patient.

I forgot to mention that if you haven't booked your hotel in Phnom Penh yet, you may want to ask her about it. On occasion, she has gotten me better rates than I could find elsewhere, although it does mean you will have to pay your hotel expense to her, in cash.

Libero, when I was in Siem Reap, my guide Dara Ly mentioned for future reference that he could arrange for a driver from Phnom Penh. (Dara is the brother of Ponheary Ly, and both are highly recommended guides on this site.)Dara can be reached at <[email protected]>.

Libero, I just learned that Ponheary has a new e-mail address, <[email protected]>. I don't know if Dara has his own, but I am sure Ponheary will pass along the request, as they work together and both live at their family-run guesthouse.

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. You're right, Thary's email has changed and I don't have the new one.
It's a great suggestion to contact Ponheary. She and Dara use the same address.
Scotters is also right; this can easily be arranged on the ground on arrival, but I understand the desire to know who you're getting.

By the way thought I would mention that I just had a very nice email from Thary proposing a couple of options - $150 one way from PP to Siem Reap including a couple of sightseeing stops - Skun Village and Sambo Prei Kukh - and $120 without the stops. Seems to be almost double what others are charging so think we'll give Thary a miss this time. Still waiting to hear from Dara.
