Changi Airport Breakfast

Hi,
Can anyone reccommend a good breakfast at Changi Airport. I don't want the usual fast food stuff. I would like eggs, bacon, etc or a good buffet style breakfasts?
Thanks.

You know, I had a very long layover at Changi a week ago - had plenty of time to wander around both terminals - and now that you mention it, I don't think there is a single sit-down restaurant there. At least not on the air-side. There might be something before you go through immigration.

Check the airport website:

We were there recently and ate lunch at a decent asian restaurant for an airport (cafeteria style)on the second floor but cannot advise on a western style breakfast.

If you are in the terminal ( sorry I can't remember if it's 1 or 2 - but anyway the one used by Singapore Airlines ) you can go upstairs and there are quite a few sit down places up there and also a place near the Sunflower Garden and the Cinema, to be honest I have not gone there for breakfast but I would pressume early morning they would do breakfasts as they do meals all day long

Thanks for the replies.
I familiar with the upstairs restaurants but they are all pretty basic. I just thought there might be at least one half decent place somewhere in the airport.

Yes, there's a sit-down restaurant at Changi. You go up to level 3 where the intransit hotel is and right across from the hotel is a sit-down place that serves breakfast. I just had breakfast there in August. It's next to the movie theater. So, you can have breakfast and then go to a movie. Happy Travels!

Hello Guenmai,
Thanks for the info.
Is that Terminal 1 or 2?
Thank you.

The movie theater is in terminal two, but there's a business lounge next to it. Across from the theater is the transit hotel and massage. Next to that is the food court. I think Guenmai is mistaking the food court for a sit-down restaurant.

Michael...I wasn't in a food court...well not by my definition of a food court. It was a sit-down, restaurant-style place...nothing fancy and not tons of choice, but they had breakfast. I stayed at the Intransit Hotel and walked across from it into the eating facility. I don't remember if it was Terminal 1 or 2. I had flown from L.A.-Tokyo-Singapore on Singapore Air...so whatever terminal that flight would fly into. Happy Travels!

Yup that's the one I meant, you go up to where the transit hotel is and across from there next to the cinema is a sit down place, then you have the games room which you can walk through to get onto the Sunflower terrace ( those great fans that spurt out cooling mist !! ), that's the place, it's the terminal that Singapore etc fly from, I too not sure if T1 or T2 though but that's the place with plenty of tables and chairs.
