This hotel is on South Sathorn Road and is about 15 mins walk from the nearest Skytrain station Saladaeng in Silom Road. If you want to be nearer to a station, then maybe you should consider a hotel on Silom or Sumkumvit Road. Go to www.asiarooms.com for more details.

Rooms at the Krungthep Wing at the Shangri La, have balconys overlooking the river and the wing is adjacent to a sky-train station.

That station is called Saphan Taksin and is the last one on the Silom line. They have constructed the bridge over the Chao Phrya river, but run out of money for the track and stations on the Thonburi side. As they say TIT This is Thailand.

The Four Seasons is directly across the street from the Rajadamri skytrain station and in the heart of town. Happy TRavels!

One thing I found out in BKK, don't look at the map distances! they are very far! Banyan Tree walk to the Skytrain could take 15 mins in sweltering Bangkok heat. In my opinion, those staying there (Banyan Tree, Sukhothai and Metropolitan) need to take cabs.
