Hotels near Bangkok Train Station?
I will arrive in Bangkok by train from Singapore. The next day I will depart via train to the Cambodian border.
I know I "should" go on into town and taxi back and forth and I just might, but was just wondering if there are any decent hotels in the $100/night range somewhere in the vicinity of the train station?

Hua Lamphong station is the main train station of Bangkok and one of the oldest in the country. It's quite centrally located so can choose from any of the main river hotel or hotels on Silom road. I don't really know the prices of the hotel around there but I hope my description of the location will help you choose the right hotel.

This place is fun - it's in Chinatown, super close. But really - the railway station is close to a million hotels.
