Bankgkok - Night Market

Would someone please tell me how far the Night Market is from the Conrad Hotel?
Is it walking distance? How long?
Thanks

It's walkable...we took a taxi there from the Conrad and then walked back. It was about a 15 minute walk, maybe. If it's really hot, I'd taxi, but if not, the walk isn't unpleasant.

I assume you mean SuanLum Night Bazaar. I always enjoy it very much. I've always just taken a taxi there. But you also have the option of the subway, if it runs anywhere near your hotel.

In another thread, there is a note about the night bazaar being in full swing, and still open. Rumors were saying that it would close, but it seems to be going strong, with more vendors waiting to get a space.

Thanks for the info.
Is there a closer 5* hotel to the night market?

The Plaza Athenee is on the same road (Wireless Road). But it will take a good 15 minutes walk. We always take the taxi because is so cheap.

There is a subway stop right at the entrance to the Night Market, so if your hotel is anywhere near the skytrain or subway lines you should be able to get there easily.
You'll want to exit at the Lumphini station on the Subway line. When you exit, look to your right, and there it is!

We went to the night market from the Plaza Athenee by taxi. I wouldn't recommend walking if it's hot which it will be. Coming from the night market, if your taxi driver doesn't know where the PA is (it is relatively new), ask him to take you to the Vietnam Embassy - you'll be right there.
