Bangkok shopping question

Quick question. Does anyone have any idea where I could buy body building supplements in Bangkok? I've been looking for information on the net but can't seem to come up with anything. My husband is into the gym thing, and was looking to see if we could get some while we were there. Thanks, Sharon

i am quite sure you will be able to find them...i would start with some of the many gyms around bangkok and ask the staff there...i would also ask in the gym at your hotel...you could try a pharmacy in bkk too....few if any things are prescriptions there...

There are branches of GNC around Thailand where you can get all the standard stuff. HOWEVER, if you're expecting to get it cheaper than in the US, you will be severely disappointed. While drugs are quite cheap in Thailand, food supplements are extremely expensive. They can be 2 - 3 times what they cost in the USA.

As michael said, the products are ALOT more expesnive here then in the US. Not worth the price at all. I usually order my stuff online and with the sending cost, its even cheaper then what GNC charge for 4lb of protein.

Thanks for the responses. Might not be worth buying them there then. Especially considering the weight. Will save the space in our suitcases for other stuff I'll check out the prices anyway though but won't go out of our way. Thanks watts for the tip on buying them online, will pass that on to my husband.
