Has anyone visited Asiatique lately? How is it? Also the website indicates they have a shuttle boat to the Taskin skytrain- has anyone taken that to get there? Do you know what the shuttle boat schedule is? How late is runs?

Sounds like one should eat dinner before one gets there to avois the big expensive places on site. How is the shopping?

Not sure about the boat shuttle schedule but very sure about how bad the traffic on the fronting road has gotten since Asiatique opened! Shopping, IMO, is basically the same as the other malls but this one is outdoor. You should plan on going there late afternoon and after dinner, if the boat is not running, it's only a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the BTS station.

There's a range of food options at the place. The restaurants on the riverfront are expensive but there are cheaper places away from the river, and even several fast food places on the road running along the other side.

I think the last shuttle boat is around 10:00 pm.
