I Loved it, if you arrange in time (and are staying on the river) they can collect you by boat. Magical views of the Grand Palace at night.

its easy to go right up the penn side of the river to the restaurant in a taxi... you can also arrive by private boat at their pier...

the food was very good, but on the expensive side... you might prefer a tasting menu at the thai rest. outside at the penn...also expensive.. and jestors if fantastic...

But the view from Supatra is nice don't you think, especially at night.
RSN you need to let them know in advance you want to be picked up and dropped off by their boat!

Yes they do (well they did when we went) but it has to be booked in advance.
We had a great view from the terrace. Muffin remembers the cocktails were good, i remember he had a hangover the next day.......

We tried to book the boat, but aparently it's not available on the night we are going because of a private affair. Not sure what that means?

We have requested a table with an exterior view and will hopefully get it.

What's the dress code? I not packing anything too fancy, but maybe black capris and a blouse or sun dress? My husband definitely won't have anything fancy - maybe a collared shirt?

Your attire sounds perfect. Have the pen book the taxi for you. We had a table outside on the terrace but not everyone wants to eat outside i guess. Go for drinks at the 360 bar in the Millenium hotel before hand, they usually do 2 for 1 on cocktails at certain times!! GREAT view too.

We went to the restaurant and had a great time! The food was good and it was nice sitting by the river. A great dinner for our first night in Thailand. We were so jet-lagged that we headed back to the hotel pretty soon after dinner!
