Which Airline Club Should I Choose!
Hello!
I know I have asked about AA club at ORD but I have seen that NWA offers a day pass as well and seems to offer more.
Which should I choose for amenties?
I am flying on Aer Lingus so with the AA pass I can go the Aer Lingus lounge but NWA partner is British Airline and they seem to have a club at ORD.
I plan to have lunch at Wolfgang Express so I know Terminal Three would be good.
Too many choices what should I do?????
Thank you
Paul

I could be wrong, but I doubt very much that your day pass to either AA or NW clubs will get you past the door dragons at either AerLingus or BA clubs.
The day pass is just that. It has nothing to do with partners (btw, BA is a OneWorld partner with AA). It allows you access to the club of the airline that you purchased the day pass from. No more.
As an AA elite I'm allowed to use BA lounges on the day of international travel and as long as I'm traveling with any of the OneWorld partners.
I'm also a member of the AA Admirals Club, but that does not give me access to any of their OneWorld partners based on membership with AA ACs ONLY.
A day pass is nothing more than a membership with the airline club for 1 day.
So, your AA day pass will give you access to Admirals Clubs ONLY.
NW may give you access to other clubs as per their regular membership rules.
Somebody with knowledge of the access rules of NW clubs should be able to tell you if access to any other clubs is possible based on membership ONLY.

I asked a person at the Chicago O'Hare AA Admiral Club and they said I can use it at Aer Lingus but they could be wrong.
I did post a new topic asking if there a way to get from one terminal to another.
Thank you,
Paul

The WorldClubs lounge in Chicago is jointly operated by NWA and Continental. So if you're flying on NWA or Continental metal, or on another airline with an NWA or Continental codeshare for that flight, then you can probably use the lounge (maybe Aer Lingus is a codeshare with NWA for some of the flights and that's why you were told you could use the lounge).

Gardyloo,
actually QF shares the lounge with BA and CX in TBIT, and co-owns the fabulous AA/QF First and Business Lounge in AA's terminal 4. All the QF Sydney flights go out of terminal 4. Maybe that's what the other poster was thinking when s/he said a day pass will get you into QF lounge. It will not, when the lounges are separate in different locations.
Also, you have the HNL situation reversed. It's AA that signed up with QF to use their lounge in HNL, not the other way around. It's not a bad lounge, and better than nothing, but as you said, nothing spectacular, and it is a far walk from AA gates.
But again, it will be a HUGE surprise to me if an AC day pass gets anybody into the AerLingus lounge in ORD.
