If you are flying international business or first class they will give you a day pass, otherwise you pay.

I know you can get Continental lounge passes as a Chase Card reward for 2500 points ($25.00) maybe AA has the same? Have also seen day passes on e-bay.

Are these all family memebers? Cheapest might be to spring for an annual pass, as I think you can bring in immediate family with you.

According to AA's website:

"Up to three children under 18 years of age admitted at no additional cost if accompanied by the adult Day Pass visitor."

A lot depends on the age configuration of your group.

Sadly its adults but thanks for the idea for the year pass will check it out. I have been checking on e bay and there are a ton of Delta pass's but no AA. Does anyone know if I could use the delta lounge though not be flying delta if I have pass's? seems a little cheesy to me but if you can do it I would be willing to give it a shot. I have traveled a lot with Delta and do have some pass's I have not used. But this trip is AA and Qantas.

If you have a valid annual membership or a day pass for an airline's lounge, they don't care if you're not flying with them that day.

Here's the question though: Should you really buy such things on eBay? You have to show a government-issued photo ID along with whatever form of admission you use. How is that going to match the name on a pass you buy from a third party?

My delta pass's (2) are blank you just fill in your name and date. I do have a delta FF card. But I did not realize you could use them. Which is great because I just checked membership and it $740 for couple lst year. Thanks for that information.

The passessold on eBay are blank ones. Usually issued as rewards to premiere fliers or with credit card rebates. Just be careful of expiration dates.

the problem with using a lounge on a different airline is that you may be in different terminals that are far apart. Check the airport maps before you in invest in them.

You can't get between AA's Terminal 4 and DL's Terminal 5/6 on the airside; and you can't get into 5/6/7 with a AA boarding pass.

BTW, no problem with the CO's President's Club pass bought on ebay. You need to show ID, but there doesn't need to be any connection between the user and the original recipient of those passes. And no, you can't use CO's club, since they're in Terminal 6.

rkkwan, I fly into LAX on Air Pacific and out on AA. Will I be able to use either my Delta day passes or CO President Club passes at LAX?

I know I don't need to be on a Delta flight to use their pass--but I thought CO passes were only to be used when on a CO flight. Am I wrong??

If you're talking about the Chase coupons for CO's clubs, no, you don't need to be on CO or even *A flights. As long as you can get to their doors in Terminal 6. You should be able to use them in UA's Red Carpet Clubs as well.

Thanks, Rkkwan. But I'll have an AA boarding pass so cannot get into terminal 6 per above info.
